I may read a lot but I don't always read all genres. Here are a couple challenges to help.
Challenge 1: 12 in 12 a LibraryThing group
Choose 12 categories. Now decide how many books you want to read for each. I'm going easy and will read One Book for each category.1. Banned/Challenged Book - Hunger Games planned
2. Cozy Mystery
3. Fairy Tale - The Fairy Tales Detective planned
4. Horror - Ancient Awakenings planned
or maybe Under the Dome (but man, that one's 1000+ pages!)
5. Western - The Call of the Canyon planned
6. Poetry -
7. 100 Best Novels - Catch 22 planned
really want to read Brave New World but not only do I own C-22, I know where it is
8. Fantasy - Lost in a Good Book planned
or count a Harry Potter re-read
9. Science Fiction - The City and the Stars planned
10. Paranormal - Kiss of Snow planned
11. Suspense - Manufactured Identity planned
12. under 18 - The View from the Cherry Tree planned
Challenge 2: The Eclectic Reader at Book'd Out
Read one book that fits the first 12. If you read a Historical Romance, it only counts as Historical OR Romance, not both. Shellyrae wants reviews.
Challenge 3: Around the Stack in How Many Ways at Dog Ear Discs
There are 20 genres to choose from. I'm going for Backpacker and will read 5-10 different genres. Use the 2nd list. ~You MUST review each book, even if it's a "quick thoughts on" post.
